Dr. Shalini Pradhan

Deeply passionate about dentistry and patient care, Dr. Shalini reads dental health as part of long-term physical health, not separate from it. That functional view of dentistry, and over 30 years spent treating patients, led her to develop Betru, a range of botanical oral care formulations rooted in preventive care. She has also published an illustrated children's book on oral care for toddlers, and continues to build the lifelong patient bonds that shape her approach to dental wellness.

Mohita is a healthcare and business professional with over a decade of experience across healthcare, strategy and consumer businesses. She has been recognised by The Economic Times as one of Asia's Most Promising Business Leaders and by Business Connect Magazine among the 50 Most Influential Women in Business. She is also engaged in social impact work addressing iron deficiency among women and adolescent girls in India. At Betru, she brings that healthcare and product development experience to building formulations shaped by dentistry-led thinking and considered, modern product development.
Every formulation starts with a clinical question, then is refined with an advisory board including Dr. M. P. Gupta (PhD, Microbiology and Ayurveda) and Dr. Suchetan Pradhan (MDS Prosthodontics, Head of Dentistry at P. D. Hinduja Hospital).
