Designed to make you feel something.

It began with five words: nature, botanicals, Rufous Treepie, minimal, apothecary. Dr. Shalini and Mohita wanted Betru to feel different before you even opened the pack.

Oral care is often designed to feel clinical, functional and forgettable. We wanted something warmer, packaging that could make a familiar daily ritual feel personal, beautiful and worth looking forward to.

That thought led us to the Dentist Bird. Rather than another decorative illustration, we imagined a little character that could become part of the Betru world: curious, gentle and distinctive, sitting among botanical forms as a quiet companion to your daily ritual, while the surrounding leaves and natural details connect back to the ingredients and botanical traditions that inspire Betru.

Warm ivory gives the packs a soft, timeless foundation. Rich brown brings the warmth of earth and botanicals. Antique gold adds a subtle touch of refinement, and a flowing gold line brings movement to the composition, echoing the gentle, continuous nature of an oral care ritual.

Even the space around the illustrations matters. Nothing is there simply to fill a box. The typography, proportions, colours and botanical details have been brought together to create a visual language that feels calm, considered and unmistakably Betru.

With Betru, we wanted that feeling to be one of warmth, curiosity and care, something that catches your eye, invites you closer and makes an everyday ritual feel just a little more special.
